Situated in the Vancouver area of British Columbia, Canada, Westcoast Clinical Research has been operating as an independent research site conducting community based epidemiological and biological field trials since 1977.

The experienced and dedicated staff of Westcoast Clinical Research includes physicians, nurses, technicians, administrative and support personnel. While conducting many multicentered, multinational clinical trials over the years, the staff of Westcoast Clinical Research has maintained a supportive and respectful relationship with the local Health Regions and community physicians.

Our staff is dedicated to standard operating procedures that encompass the ICH Good Clinical Practice: Consolidated Guidelines and the code of Federal Regulations. Staff performance is evaluated on a regular basis. An active professional development program is in place. Staff members are encouraged and assisted to participate in conferences and workshops sponsored by groups such as the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), the National Council on Ethics in Human Research (NCEHR), and the Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA).

Over the years, Westcoast Clinical Research has appreciated the confidence of its Study Sponsors as demonstrated by the repeated clinical trial opportunities afforded this site. Our studies boast a low dropout rate averaging less than 5%. Our current and former study participants have been a reliable and dedicated cohort.
